This took us to the stories of Mahabharata. If not initiated into Amar Chitra Katha already, we strongly encourage the kids to start reading ACK comic on Mahabharat. It is usually a hit with one and all. We are also trying to get some Amar Chitra Katha Comics for our kids to borrow.
Today we started Gita Chanting - Chapter # 17. Kids did a great job. As you know, Gita Yajna is on Apr 24th. We encourage the kids and the families to participate in the Yajna.
Later in the class, we also reviewed the Chinmaya Mission Pledge, to make sure its meaning is well understood. Ask them about it.
Note: Please make sure that the kids get the books, note books, Slokathon, pencil, etc., to class.
Feb 26th Class: Indian Management. Please read up the relevant chapters, and come prepared to talk about it. Also, going forward, there is going to be a Quiz on the chapters covered so far.
Guru Paduka Pooja: We hear that Apr 14th date is on a spring break week, and so it will most likely be moved to March 10, 2017, to be combined with 8th grade. More details when we get them.
Apr 2nd Class: Please mark your calendar for a possible Chinmaya Madhuvan visit. More details to follow
Jun 4th Class: As mentioned before, please mark your calendar to stay the whole class- Assembly, in-class, and a class picnic. More details later.
Take Aways: Always love to receive '5 take aways' from the kids.
